  1. Jacob Hessels

A lovely apartment in a great location. The beach, harbor and many great restaurants within walking distance. And it only takes an hour by train to get to Rome.

  2. D. Klamer

Nice apartment. Cheap and ok train service (7,20 round trip Rome). Good restaurants within 10-15 min walk. If you have a car; visit castle Gandolfo.
Only downside; You live with traffic on both sides of the apartment, and then we hope the restaurant in the living room does not open again.

  3. Marlene

Lovely spacious apartment with 3 balconies. Close to beach, city and train station.
Authentic with local color and historical influences (WW2 and the Roman Empire). Only 1 hour from Rome. We were there on interrail and did not miss a car.

For the third time in Anzio and for the second time in "our" apartment. If the alternative is a week stuck in a hotel room in Rome, the apartment in Anzio is freedom and opportunity. Rome by train with hourly service for 3€60 each way, and then "home" to west and south-facing beaches, few foreign tourists, restaurants in ALL price categories, but always good. Atmospheric atmosphere around the square and harbor. If you have access to a car, the mountain towns of Sermoneta and Bassiano are both worth a visit.

  5. John B. Nielsen

Very nice accommodation with large rooms, 2 bathrooms and a nice kitchen.
The beach is 7 minutes from the house and the harbor with lots of restaurants can be reached in 15 minutes.

  6. Anett Wiingaard

The waterfront location is unique so close to Rome and it's great to sit in one of the many restaurants on or overlooking the beach. We've been to Rome a couple of times, which only costs 3.60 EUR (one way) and takes an hour, so the combination of big city Rome and peaceful little seaside resort is perfect - even outside the bathing season.

  7. Jette H

Nice apartment and nice place, also in November. However, many restaurants - and the tourist office - are closed for the winter. Well-functioning apartment also for several people. Two lovely balconies. There is actually a third balcony, but it is not furnished. Quick access to the station - and thus to Rome. Within a few hundred meters from the apartment there is a well-stocked fishmonger, butcher, grocer and greengrocer. Authentic Italian urban environment - with the usual city noise that comes with it.

  8. Anne Marie Munk

A nice apartment with everything you need. Located with short walking distance to train, beach and city center. Only an hour train ride to Rome. Highly recommended and would book again

  9. Claus Hornshøj

Lovely functional accommodation. Anzio and Nettuno are true Italian seaside resorts, and there is easy access to the city and the water from the accommodation. It is also close to Rome, which is a natural destination for excursions.

  10. Claus Engberg

Nice apartment, spacious and the possibility of several balconies.
Good opportunities to eat well and shop close by.
If you want more life, it is within walking distance - remember the activity takes place a little later than in DK.
Super service by local host Vania.

  11. Lone Hedemand

Lovely spacious apartment. We were 6 adults and it worked fine. Easy to walk to the train to Rome and the other way to nice beach. Don't forget to visit the small cozy town and the harbor. The restaurant under the apartment is definitely worth a visit. Good food and very friendly service.

  12. Bjarke HL

Nice and spacious holiday apartment with several balconies. Good beaches within walking distance. The neighborhood is not so charming, but safe to walk in, and there are good restaurant and shopping opportunities within a few 100 meters from the apartment. More cozy areas in Anzio, which also has several attractions. Approx. 1½ hours to Rome by car during the day, so a train to Rome in 1 hour is more obvious.

  13. Kristian Knudsen

Great city and beach, but a bit outside the center. 10 minutes walk to station.

  14. Kalle Kjemtrup

Great location with about 10 minutes to the city center, beach, train station and supermarket. The apartment is well-appointed with plenty of space, spacious balconies and excellent kitchen and two bathrooms. Vania is a very helpful and welcoming host. Definitely worth a visit.

  15. Kirsten

Great apartment with plenty of space and necessary equipment. Some noise from the street. Lovely area with lots of Italian coziness within walking distance. Remember to read the guestbook in the apartment, there are many useful tips!

  16. Henrik Vestergaard

Anzio is lovely with the fishermen cleaning nets in the morning and then you can eat their catch in the restaurants in the evening. The central square (Piazza Pia) is truly Italian in the evening.
The southern beach east of the harbor is better than the western one close to the apartment.
There is a market in the neighboring town of Nettuno on Thursday mornings.
The proximity to Rome with hourly train service is another plus.
Fish restaurant "Al Sarago" and the most delicious steaks at "Fuoco Lento" if you're looking for something a little bigger. The pizzeria "Antico Grottino", if a pizza and beer for €10,- will do.

  17. Bent Hedelund

Lovely apartment, not far from the beach. Spacious and with good balconies/terraces.
    Good restaurants and shopping nearby.
The excursion options are good, e.g. Rome by train or by rented car along the coast to Ostia or inland.
Anzio town is cozy and with the center 10-15 min from the apartment.
