In La Cala de Mijas you are close to it all. From the balcony of the apartment you can enjoy unparalleled views of the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Gibraltar and, on clear days, Ceuta on the Moroccan coast.
About the apartment
The apartment is located in a charming and well-kept complex with a communal pool, green areas and cozy common areas. It is furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay and with its second-floor location, you'll have great views of the sea.
You're just 600 meters from the beach and have restaurants and shopping within 500 meters. Everything you need is right at your fingertips, while still offering peace and privacy.
Location and transportation
The nearest airport is Málaga Costa del Sol, which is just a 30-minute drive away. From the airport you can take the train to Fuengirola and from there a bus to La Cala de Mijas (approximately 1 hour travel time). Timetables can be found here and bus tickets can be booked at omio.com.
However, for the greatest flexibility, we recommend renting a car so you can easily take trips to the many exciting cities and attractions in Andalusia. Other transportation options include taxi, Uber and Cabify.
Practical information
- 100 euros for cleaning is payable in cash on site and includes linen, towels and pool towels.
- Consumption is charged at DKK 21 per person per day and is automatically added to the price. Remember to state the correct number of people when booking.

Can recommend a visit to the olive museum LA Almazara located just north of Ronda. Book a guided tour, it was really good.
In Mijas it is worth visiting the Miniature Museum in the square and the small art museum CAC Mijas.
Good apartment with an ok location and view. Also some shops and restaurants nearby (walking distance).

Good secure parking and access to the property. Lovely balcony with good views. Quiet even though apartment is close to the coastal highway.
Sofa in living room is not good to sleep on but bedrooms are fine. Good shopping and cafes within walking distance.

Cozy accommodation where there is what is needed. Nice terrace where we ate the meals we did not eat at one of the numerous restaurants: You go to the beach promenade (see map on the mobile) then go about 5-600 meters to the right until you meet a small path with reference to a number of restaurants, all of good quality, it is a bit strange - but the restaurants are right next to the highway - without it really bothering.
The beach has nice water, but in some places there are large stones in the beach bottom, which makes it a little difficult to enjoy the bathing life.
On September 16, there were still sun loungers by the pool, which is smaller, but OK!
We would like to come again at a time when it is not so attractive to swim.
It is not necessary to rent a car, a taxi is enough! Then you can rent a car locally without any problems for 1 or 2 days.
We had rented both 305 and 307. Both are excellent apartments: clean and tidy. We had two days when there was no water in the taps in the whole area. That taught us to put something in the bathtub so we had some for the toilet.
Nice pool for the kids. The beach is not fantastic, but is within reasonable distance. If you want to get around the area it's probably best with a car. We ate at Café de La Gamba one day: a really good restaurant.
Walking distance to the beach and shopping is a plus. If you book out of season, be aware that there are no sun loungers by the pool. We bought 2 for the apartment, which we left, but don't know if they are still there and usable.
