Modern holiday home in the Italian Dolomites
The mountains of northern Italy are something special, with snowy slopes in winter and beautiful green nature in summer. In winter, the area is a true paradise for skiing enthusiasts with access to both Madonna di Campiglio and Marilleva, while summer offers hiking, mountain biking, river rafting and amazing views of the Dolomites. From the accommodation, it's just a few minutes' walk to the nearest ski lift, which takes you directly to Marilleva. From here you can easily continue on to Madonna di Campiglio, giving you access to the entire ski area with approximately 120 kilometers of slopes.
About the area
Folgarida is a small town in the heart of the Dolomites. Here you'll find five restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, while the town of Dimaro (15 minutes by car) offers a larger selection of places to eat. If you want to visit a larger city, Trento is about an hour away by car.
In winter, skiing is the main attraction, but in summer the area transforms into a playground for nature lovers. The lifts that take skiers up the slopes in winter are used in the summer months to take hikers and mountain bikers up the mountainsides where you'll find beautiful lakes, green valleys and amazing viewpoints.

About the apartment
Meledrio 40 is a small, completely renovated accommodation with room for 4 guests. The apartment is located just 500 meters from the ski lift, making it ideal for skiing holidays. It has one double bedroom and a 140×200 cm bed in the ground floor room.
Please note that the property is not suitable for people with walking difficulties: To enter the apartment you have to climb many stairs, and inside the residence a steep staircase leads up to the first floor.
Location and transportation
Both Bolzano and Milan Airport are within easy reach, giving you flexible travel options. The trip from Bolzano Airport takes approximately 1½ hours. The trip from Milan Airport takes 3½ hours. Car rental is recommended as the area is mountainous and ideal for excursions.
Practical information
- The property is NOT suitable for people with walking difficulties.
- Bookings can only be made starting on Tuesday or Saturday, otherwise we will not be able to clean the apartment. It is allowed to book from Saturday but not arrive until Sunday, for example, but there will be no refund for the days you do not use.
- Final cleaning is mandatory and costs 1125 kr. It is automatically added when booking and includes linen and towels.
- Consumption is charged at DKK 21 per person per day and is automatically added to the price. Remember to state the correct number of people when booking.
Parking space
During high season, parking is limited. We recommend using the parking garage at Hotel Belvedere (about a 10-minute walk from the property). Off-season there are better parking options close to the stairs leading up to the apartment.

Nice apartment that is well equipped
But there are a lot of stairs up to it. Folgarida is almost lifeless in summer, but excellent hiking area, especially around Madonna di Campiglio.
a drying cabinet is a big wish... we were lucky that it was high sun most days, so it was only wet mittens we came home with, but if we are not so lucky next time, wet clothes in the evening will still be wet clothes in the morning due to lack of drying options. some apartments in the complex have a drying cabinet on the terrace...
Lovely apartment located in quiet surroundings.
We were on a ski vacation and it worked fine with a short walk to the Belvedere lift, we could also easily get a parking space at the apartment and at the lift (January, week 2)
The apartment could be marked more clearly with a sign or house number, but we found it from pictures 🙂
Beautifully renovated small apartment on two floors. Everything works perfectly and is smartly decorated. Beautiful views. Lots of hiking trails nearby and in Madonna di Campiglio. The neighbor found it nice to have to walk past our table/chairs on the balcony outside. Nice that you have added a photo as we had quite a hard time finding the entrance - maybe mark the photo further with an arrow?
