History, charm and year-round destination in the Harz Mountains
Goslar is the capital of the Harz Mountains and one of Germany's most charming cultural cities. As an old imperial city, Goslar boasts a well-preserved, historic city center filled with half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets and cozy squares. It's a great place to visit all year round; in summer for hiking in the beautiful mountains, and in winter when the Christmas market transforms the town into an atmospheric winter wonderland.
From Goslar you can take day trips to other exciting cities such as Bad Harzburg and Quedlinburg, both less than an hour's drive away. The city itself offers great shopping opportunities, including the Karstadt department store, as well as a wealth of restaurants, cafés and cultural and historical sights.
About the apartment
The apartment on Reitstallweg is bright, spacious and modernly furnished. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room and two balconies with views of the city and mountains, there's room for the whole family. Two bedrooms have a double bed, the third room has two single beds, and the living room has a sofa bed with the possibility of two additional beds (recommended for children). All in all, the accommodation is best suited for six people, but up to eight can stay overnight.
The property is only 600 meters from Goslar train station and about 3 km from the city center, making it easy to explore the city and surroundings both by car and public transport.
Location and transportation
The nearest airport is Hannover Airport. From here it is about an hour and a half drive to Goslar. From the apartment it is also possible to take the train directly from Goslar station, which is within walking distance.
During the winter months you can also combine your stay with a day of skiing. It takes about half an hour to drive to the small ski area at Bocksberg, where there are 4 km of slopes and 6 lifts. So it's a great opportunity for a cheap vacation and a few days of skiing. Check the season and snow guarantee yourself, as it's a very small area.

Nice and large apartment. Short way to the center of charming Goslar and short way to beautiful nature. This was our second visit to the apartment. This time we brought mountain bikes. There is a good and beautiful area for mountain biking just 100 meters from the apartment. We would definitely rent this vacation home again another time.

Lovely well-planned holiday apartment, located on the top floor of a large 3-dwelling villa in a quiet high-rise residential area with good views. 2 balconies with the possibility of sun morning and afternoon and evening, 3 good bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a smaller kitchen, but with good equipment.
Good parking options on the residential street and in the garage (the right of the 2 garages belongs to the apartment).
