Seborga Balconies

Authentic medieval town with views and charm

Seborga is a small gem in northwestern Italy, surrounded by mountains and with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. The town is known for its narrow streets, old stone houses and peaceful atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a vacation with true Italian village atmosphere, far from mass tourism, but close to culture, nature and coastal life.

Just half an hour's drive from the elegant coastal town of San Remo and only an hour from Nice, Seborga easily combines tranquil village life with beach, shopping and French Riviera vibes. The Ligurian Sea is nearby, where you'll find beautiful beaches and charming port towns. There are also fantastic hiking opportunities in the mountains and small medieval villages to explore. There are also local restaurants where you can taste authentic Italian cuisine and wine from the region.

Confortevole e accogliente appartamento con vista mozzafiato. Qui ci siamo davvero rilassati in una atmosfera calda e tranquilla. Appartamento molto pulito e host presente e disponibile. Siamo stati davvero bene. Will return. Assolutamente da consigliare a chi, come me, desidera una vacanza rilassante e lontano dai rumori. Bello, bello davvero!

We rented both the Balcony and the Terrace for 3 weeks and had a fantastic stay with friends and family in the Terrace. With access to both homes, you can make optimal use of the facilities and at the same time enjoy time together and shared experiences. Seborga is a small, beautiful and very quiet mountain village with a clear historical pride. For a unique taste experience, book a table at the nearby family restaurant Case Cassini 3.5 km from Seborga. Only open on Sundays - where you'll be served 13 courses in the afternoon that are the same for all guests - book a table at least 8 days in advance. Many good hiking routes around Seborga - as well as visits to Bordighera, Bussana Vecchio, the castle of Dolceacqua and San Remo are recommended. We will gladly come again.

Lovely apartment located on a hilltop in a delightful medieval temple knight town.
The road to the town goes through several hairpin bends with fantastic views of the Mediterranean and the Ligurian hills.
Apartments are small but very well decorated light and bright.

Our warmest recommendations for a truly special experience.

PS. Don't forget to book a table for lunch at the local restaurant.

The apartment is well-appointed and perfect for two. Lovely terrace with beautiful views of the mountains, riviera and sunset.
Seborga is a charming little town with an exciting history. At the small grocery store you can buy what you need, and otherwise there are many supermarkets 1/2 hour drive away. There were also 2 excellent open restaurants in town.
If you like hiking, there are many opportunities for both long and short trips, including marked routes.
Both the city and the surrounding area have a lot to offer. We were there for 14 days and it wasn't too much.

  5. Mette and Nicholas Bjergbakke

Really nice accommodation for 2 persons with great views. Well decorated with a relaxing style. Top notch views and cozy quiet town.

  6. Svend Krongaard Hansen

Great home with stunning views and in exciting mountain town

  7. Hans Olsen

Really lovely apartment for 2 people in the cozy mountain town of Seborga. The apartment is beautifully decorated and apart from the a/c everything worked perfectly. Nice life in the town incl. grocery store, 3 restaurants and 2 evenings a week (in summer), with the possibility of communal dining, music and dancing. Great connection.
A ½ hour drive to the beach/San Remo. We can only highly recommend this

  8. Anders Warncke

We have had a really nice week in this cozy and beautifully renovated apartment. We have enjoyed the view, the cozy little Italian town, the city parties and trips in the area. Highly recommend the apartment.

  9. Bengt Kjær Burkal

A fantastic home with a superb view down towards Monaco. The balcony is large and lovely. The car must be parked at a public parking lot not far from the property. Shopping must be done by car in one of the larger cities nearby.

  10. Jakob Bisgaard

A really nice week in Seborga. Lovely accommodation with great views, where breakfast was enjoyed every morning on the balcony. Nice little - quiet - town. Good excursion opportunities - car highly recommended. Have shopped in the shop next door (limited selection) and eaten in town at Marcellino's. As for parking, we drove around town to parking lot here. Plenty of spaces every day.

It's a lovely apartment with great views! Parking is in the city's shared parking lot just down the street. Finding a space can be a challenge. Buy the essentials BEFORE arriving at the property, as it's a 30 min. drive down the mountain to the nearest supermarket. There is a "grocery store" right next to the apartment. However, it was never open while we were there. The neighbor's dogs were barking all day right at the entrance to our apartment. We did not know anything about communal laundry when we were there. New nice furniture on the balcony. There is a well-equipped kitchen. We never found out what to do with garbage and waste. There should be an info. book with important and useful information, e.g. about waste disposal and shopping opportunities, as you are pretty isolated up on the mountain.
