Seborga is a small, high-altitude mountain town in northern Italy, known for its atmospheric medieval streets, beautiful stone houses and tranquil surroundings. Here you get an authentic Italian experience, far away from mass tourism, but still close to the coast and exciting cities.
Seborga is located in Liguria, close to the French border and just a short drive from the Ligurian Sea. This makes it an ideal base for exploring both Italy and the south of France. Sanremo is about 30 minutes away by car. This is an elegant port city known for its beaches, casino and flower festival, usually held in May. You can also experience Nice, a French Riviera vibe with a seafront promenade, shopping and culture (about 1 hour by car). Here you get the best of both worlds, the tranquil mountain town and the lively Mediterranean cities close by.
About the apartment
The accommodation is a small, cozy one-bedroom apartment with space for up to 4 people. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a unique historic building and has direct access to a garden with a large covered terrace, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a quiet evening overlooking the beautiful countryside. The apartment has a small kitchenette with a hob (but no oven), a double bed and a sofa bed for two people. It is therefore best suited for a family or couple who want a simple but atmospheric base for their vacation. Shopping facilities are about a 10-minute drive away. Please note that you will have to walk about 100 meters with your luggage as it is not possible to drive all the way to the door unless you have a very narrow car.
Location and transportation
The nearest airport is Nice Airport (approximately 1 hour drive). Car rental is recommended so you can easily explore the area, visit nearby towns and head to the coast.
Practical information
- Final cleaning is mandatory and costs DKK 700. It is automatically added when booking and includes linen and towels.
- Consumption is charged at DKK 21 per person per day and is automatically added to the price. Remember to state the correct number of people when booking.

An incredibly cozy apartment with the best terrace. Great with the pergola that allows you to sit outside and enjoy the view all day long. We ate in the square on Saturday and Thursday and enjoyed the music and dancing. A local told us that the grocery store in town is permanently closed. So you can shop in the town of Bordighera below the mountain. It also has a nice beach. In Bordighera there is a market on Thursdays. We took a day trip by train to Nice. Great recommendation to visit Seborga, for those who want tranquility and beautiful surroundings and who are not intimidated by mountain driving.
Lovely home with great views located in a small but cozy mountain village. Several good restaurants within walking distance and grocery store 50 meters from accommodation with OK selection and not more expensive than supermarkets down by the coast
Perfect place for total relaxation in the small cozy town of Seborga. Limited shopping in town, but a few excellent places to eat.
The apartment is well-equipped several classes above what you normally see in the south.
The home is a bit dark, but this is fully compensated by the covered terrace.

Incredibly beautiful views from the terrace where you can sit outside almost all day, despite the sometimes very hot sun. Secluded little cozy village, which despite that has everything you need. A great place to get into gear.
Super cozy, beautifully renovated little apartment with great views and in the friendliest little Italian town. We were there during the summer vacation and the town offered two town festivals while we were there. Great atmosphere in the square and with the opportunity to buy food and local wine.
Fantastic views. Very beautifully situated on top of the mountain. Very nice hiking routes. Nice town festival every Saturday in July. The apartment is only suitable for 2 people (or couples with small children), not 3-4 adults.
You should be aware that the apartment is remote, so you must be prepared to drive approx. 25 minutes by car down the mountain when shopping, swimming or eating at a good restaurant. There is a nice beach below the mountain and we had a great experience visiting the nearby Botanical Gardens (it can also be combined with snorkeling and kayaking)

The grocery store may not have the most goods on the shelf. But you can get almost everything you need!
Good walks and not far to the coast. Bordighera is a nice town with good restaurants along the beach.
Great views from the terrace in the town which has its own princess and Templars wandering the narrow streets.
