Sessame, as we affectionately call "the village", is located in the middle of one of Italy's most beautiful wine regions with views of vineyards and the surrounding mountains. Here you'll enjoy a vacation in authentic surroundings with a focus on tranquility, gastronomy and wine, as well as a landscape that invites relaxation and good experiences.
It is an ideal destination for wine and food lovers. In the surrounding area you'll find the famous cities of Asti, Alba and Bra, all within a short driving distance. Here you can visit small delicatessens, wine bars and restaurants offering local specialties. In late summer and fall, the wine harvest is in full swing, which means festive town festivals for locals and visitors alike.
About the holiday home
Sessame consists of three houses, which together can accommodate up to 20 people. This makes it ideal for large families, groups of friends or several generations who want to vacation together. The houses are completely renovated and furnished with modern comfort. Between the houses is a large common area with a pool and terraces where the whole family can gather for fun, meals and relaxation. All three houses have a washing machine and dryer, and from the grounds you can enjoy stunning views of the wine countryside.
Location and transportation
The nearest airport is Turin Airport. Car rental is recommended as the area has many hills, giving you the freedom to visit nearby towns, wineries and restaurants.
Practical information
- Final cleaning is mandatory and costs DKK 3200. It is automatically added when booking and includes linen and towels.
- Consumption is charged at DKK 21 per person per day and is automatically added to the price. Remember to state the correct number of people when booking.

Sessame is a fantastic place for both children and adults. We were there for three generations at the beginning of the summer of 2025 with very hot weather and the pool was used extensively. The homes are beautifully decorated and there was nothing missing. The kitchens are well-equipped and we were able to cook together and eat outside on the terrace. There are also good opportunities to retreat and find peace and shade.
The area is beautiful and several people used it for morning runs. All in all, a magnificent experience.
Sessame is highly recommended. Lovely location in the middle of nature with a wide view. The homes offer plenty of space for many people and are therefore recommended for large families or if you are traveling with several pairs of friends.
An amazingly authentic, spacious and well-appointed home right in the middle of beautiful Piedmont! We were there with three friends and stayed perfectly in the house with the green shutters, while our daughter and boyfriend stayed in the slightly smaller one with red shutters. We can fully endorse the enjoyment of visiting the surrounding towns mentioned and also visited a winery with a fantastic history and great wines (Riboli Azienda Acricola) and the family restaurant Il Giardinetto which are both highly recommended and nearby. We highly recommend this accommodation if you love or want to explore Piedmont and we will definitely come again!
A spacious and authentic accommodation right in the heart of Piedmont with magical views from the pool area. Very suitable for a large family, several families or friends.
We were there for 3 weeks in late September and visited Alba, Barbaresco, Barolo, Acqua Terme and Asti. All beautiful cities with great opportunities to taste the beautiful grapes. Good hikes right outside the door. The nearest neighbor, just up the mountain behind the house, is a winemaker and is happy to show you his fields and tell you about the production while he pours hospitality into the glasses.
It's about 15 min. by car to the nearest place to shop and eat at a restaurant, so you should expect to drive to everything. However, it is possible to walk the beautiful hike to Sessame, but it requires really good mountain legs to get back home and only if you are lucky, the local cafe is open.
